Radoslav Augustín
Radoslav is the Head of Product at Dennik N, a leading news publisher in Central Europe, known for its successful reader-revenue-based model. He oversees the subscription sales strategy and is responsible for all aspects of the online experience that potential subscribers encounter, excluding journalism. This includes the design and functionality of the website, subscription funnels, settings, apps, and external channels. Before joining Dennik N 10 years ago, Radoslav held a similar role at the competing newspaper Sme. He began his career in media by founding Medialne.sk, a leading media news website, which was later acquired by the business magazine Trend.

What conceptual, UX and design factors were considered when the leading Slovak news publisher, Denník N decided to renew its visual identity on digital platforms? Aims were to strengthen the brand, adding new visual features, implementing accessibility standards and optimize all the visual identity on the website, app and social media platforms. Also, we will talk about what Denník N means in the Slovak society, and how it is un-comparable to any Hungarian news outlets.
